There's a huge amount of personal preference involved in coffee brewing and we like to recommend a great place that we think tastes delicious but encourage you to taste your brews and adapt what you're doing to improve things based on what you're tasting.
Filter
We recommend brewing with 60g of coffee for every 1 litre of water you're using so for example, if you're looking to brew 300ml of coffee we would say to use 18g of coffee (60/1000*300).
We've gathered some of our favourite brew recipes on the website here.
Espresso
We recommend starting out with the following base recipe
- Dose: 18-19g
- Yield: 30-34g
- Time: 30-34 seconds
Tasting too strong? Try lowering the amount of coffee you're putting in or a slightly coarser grind.
Tasting too weak? Try adding more coffee to the brew or grinding your coffee a little finer.
There are many, many different ways of tweaking your brewing and we'd encourage you to do some independent research into what is going to work best for you. But if you have any questions or would like any guidance, please feel completely free to reach out to us by send us a message at orders@ozonecoffee.co.uk as we'd love to chat coffee with you!
